It's a BIRD

I was sitting on the couch chatting with max while he was feeding Benson. In the middle of chatting I hear this clunk, clunk. I get up, open the curtain a tiny bit, (every now and then we have birds hit our window and that is what i thought it might be) and what do I see.......... A CROW sitting on the ledge. It was staring me right in the eyes...it creaped me out. Max knocked on the window and it just looked at us like we are crazy. This was our entertainment for the day. "A Bird"

Bare Bottomed Baby

Benson LOVES TO BE "Bare Naked." A few nights ago I was getting Baby ready for bed....I took of his clothes and diaper....left him on the floor....ran to get some clean pj's and this is what I found...........................A "Bare Bottomed Baby" I'm very, very, very, very....lets just say very lucky he rolled over to play because when I picked him up to diaper and pj him....he had wet the blanket!!! This is becoming a trend. Benson just had his 6month check up and also peed on the Doc. It was so funny.

p.s.Benson is doing great. He is back to 20lbs 11oz (which is where is was at 4months, he got sick and lost 4lbs and finaly gained it back). He is 28 1/2 inches long and still growing. We are happy that he is happy.

The Quiet Book Mess

This project has been a long time waiting. I have always wanted to make a quiet book for my children. Now I can!! Over the last few years I have been collecting material/scraps from many people. The idea to make a book popped into my head a few days ago and this is what our living room turned into....a quiet book mess. With fabric, papers, cutting boards, scissors, and a baby everywhere it was time to get down to business. I started by drawing on paper what I wanted on the pages. Then i cut out the material I wanted and set it on the paper so that i could keep it organized. From here I have started to sew the pages. It is so exciting to see the pages come together. More pictures are to come as the book comes together. Wish me luck!!

He eats ANYTHING!

Benson has decided that whatever is in his view he eats. If it's in your hand he wants it, if its sitting beside him he wants it, if it makes noise he loves it and where do you think those things go....right to his mouth! Benson will chew on anything. Blankets, shoes, cell phones and even marshmallow bags!! (don't worry I don't let him have for too long!! the bag of course)
