Great Grandma and Happy Days

For some Sunday afternoon fun we went to visit Grandma Holst. We never thought we would make so many old ladies days!!! Benson was in heaven....open room to run, Great Grandma's attention, and room for his garbage truck to roll! We had so much fun. Benson wanted to sit by G Grandma so we took pictures. The first is of them looking so excited to be sitting beside each other!!! And the other is of Benson putting his arm around G Grandma and her leaning in. It was too cute. The pictures may not look like they had fun but all you have to do is ask the other ladies there....they'll tell you how happy she was!

We love you G Grandma. It was so fun to see you.

Wanted

I must be crazy! We sold our couch on Saturday and now we are sitting on the one chair we own and the floor. (not to crazy because we made money off of it and it would shock you every time you stood wanted to get up)

I need your help......we are trying to find a used free or cheaper couch to make ours. If any of you know of anyone please send the info this way. That would be much appreciated.

To find out the Gender of Baby #2 watch the video. This is funny (thanks to the news anchor and his little helper). This might be anti-climactic now for some but for me (LL) I'm glade we found out. Ultra sounds can be wrong too, you never know!!

Out Eaten by a 1 year old/yummy corn bread

So tonight was a first......

Benson out ate me......he must be growing or I wasn't very hungry.....

We had pizza for supper and for some reason I was full off of one piece.

Benson eat TWO full pieces of pizza!!!!

p.s. This is the Best Sweet tasting corn bread.....it's delish! you gotta try.

Cream:

3/4 cup margarine

1 cup sugar

3 eggs

Mix and add to the cream mixture:

1 1/2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 cup corn meal

1/2 teaspoon salt

mix all above well

add 1 1/2 cups milk

mix well and pour into a greased 9x13 pan and bake @375 for 20-25 minutes.....use a toothpick or knife to double check.

top with scrumptious honey butter.....mmmmmm good.

Whole Wheat Brownies!!

They are so scrumptious you never would have guessed it!!

Like I said I have this bucket of whole wheat kicking around and forgot about it when I went to make brownies and said to my self "Oh wonderful, this means they are healthy brownies!!"

I was getting him ready and he found his monster slippers and ran around the house with my brush and comb!! What a character.

I was in the kitchen and looked over to see Benson reading Bob the Builder's Valentine and Max studying for Biology!
